The multimedia exhibition Savitsky’s Diaries: Old and New, organised by the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, has opened at Tashkent City Mall.

The exhibition is dedicated to the life and artistic legacy of Igor Savitsky, an artist, collector and founder of the Karakalpakstan State Museum of Art named after I. V. Savitsky.

Curated by Aziza Izamova, the exhibition brings together painting, music, light and movement, inviting visitors to explore 20th-century Central Asian art from a new perspective, discover Savitsky’s unique collection and trace the connections between artistic traditions and contemporary art.

The exhibition is open to visitors until 24 January 2027.
