As part of the Tashkent Design Week 2026 plenary sessions, Borina Andrieu, Managing Director of the international architectural firm Wilmotte & Associés, delivered a presentation entitled “Design Code & Cultural Identity”.

The presentation explored the role of architecture and design in shaping a city’s cultural identity, as well as the importance of design codes in creating a harmonious urban environment that brings together historical heritage, local traditions and contemporary approaches to design.
