On 1 September 2026, at the initiative of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, the Uzbek National Puppet Theatre will present the premiere of "The Blue Dwarf, or The Pearl Heart".

A defining feature of the production is its near absence of spoken dialogue. Instead, the characters communicate in an imagined language, while the narrative is conveyed through movement, music, light, and the expressive visual language of puppet theatre, allowing audiences of all ages, languages and cultural backgrounds to engage with the performance.

Following the premiere, additional performances will take place on 5, 6, 12 and 13 September.
