As part of the International Jazz Festival in Tashkent, Miles Sanko — a British singer-songwriter of Ghanaian-French heritage, whose music blends soul, jazz and the spoken word — will perform.
Sanko has come a long way from busking on the streets of Cambridge to appearing on some of the world’s leading stages. His albums have been released in Germany, Japan and the Netherlands, and his recording collaborators include Gregory Porter and other leading figures of the global jazz scene. At the festival, the artist will present a programme from his latest album Let It Unfold — music he himself describes as “a channel for touching souls”.
We look forward to welcoming you on 29 April at 19:30 at the open-air area of the Palace of International Forums “Uzbekistan”.
The festival runs from 28 April to 13 May. Admission to all concerts is free.
