On 10 October, the Uzbekistan–Japan Music Festival will take place at the Alisher Navoi State Academic Bolshoi Theatre, featuring the Tumor Dance Ensemble, the Uzbekistan National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Alibek Kabdurakhmanov, Japanese singer and composer Tokiko Kato, pianist Yoko Kanno, and special guest, opera singer Jenisbek Piyazov.

The programme will feature works performed by the Uzbekistan National Symphony Orchestra, alongside a vocal programme by Tokiko Kato. Highlights include the celebrated compositions "A Million Roses", "Sometimes Talk About the Old Days", the ending theme of the animated film "Porco Rosso", and "Higashikawa Song: This Is the Centre of the Earth".
