As part of the International Jazz Festival in Tashkent, Gunhild Carling — a Swedish jazz singer, multi-instrumentalist and vaudeville performer of international renown — will take the stage.
Carling is a virtuoso on more than ten instruments — from trumpet and trombone to harp and bagpipes — and also captivates audiences with her tap dancing. Her performances are true shows, where jazz, humour and live energy come together as one. Her videos have garnered over 70 million views, and she has performed with ensembles such as Postmodern Jukebox and the Count Basie Orchestra.
We look forward to welcoming you on 3 May at 19:30 at the open-air area of the Palace of International Forums “Uzbekistan”.
The festival runs from 28 April to 13 May. Admission to all concerts is free.
