As part of the ongoing work to strengthen international cultural cooperation, carried out at the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Foundation continues to develop partnerships with leading cultural institutions around the world.

On 21 October in Paris, Gayane Umerova, Chairperson of the Foundation, met with Laurent Le Bon, President of Centre Pompidou. Centre Pompidou is one of the world’s leading institutions for modern and contemporary art, with one of the largest collections of 20th- and 21st-century art.

Following the meeting, the two parties signed a cooperation agreement aimed at developing a long-term partnership between the Foundation and Centre Pompidou. As part of this collaboration, an exhibition is also planned at Centre Pompidou, presenting the art and culture of Uzbekistan to an international audience.
