A delegation from the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation visited the site of EXPO 2030 Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where it was introduced to the masterplan for the World Expo and the location designated for Uzbekistan’s national pavilion.

During the visit, the delegation met with Abdullah bin Al Khamis, Director of International Participants at EXPO 2030 Riyadh. The parties discussed the location of Uzbekistan’s national pavilion, its preliminary thematic concept and the next stages of preparations for the country’s participation in the World Expo. The Saudi side also commended Uzbekistan’s national pavilion at EXPO 2025 Osaka, noting the high standard of its implementation.

Particular attention was given to the future of the national pavilion after the conclusion of the World Expo. The parties explored the possibility of transforming it into a permanent platform for promoting Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage, advancing cultural diplomacy and strengthening cooperation between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia.
